With "America can do better" failing to attract voters; Dims new slogan is "Look at all the fags"

IowaHawk is on to them

Hat Tip: Ann Coulter

How come Dims always substitute sex for real political debate? Why do they always attack their opponents in the most base and sexual manner?

They viscously degrade conservative women and harass gay Republicans with constant threats to "out" them. What happened to the party of privacy rights? Why can they not allow gay Republicans their right to keep their private life just that, private?

The point is that they want to make an example of these two groups because they consider them "off the reservation." How dare gays and women not bow to their wisdom? It is cheap intimidation equivalent to a mafia shakedown.

The libs have become the new imperialists. Their subjects are all the people they believe they have to defend against the evil conservatives with their strange notions about truth and the good.

'Baten for Freedom

Iran's Supreme Mullah Khameini has ruled that "deliberate masturbation during the month of Ramadan renders a fast invalid."

I guess now anyone who decides to scrub scooby or hold the sausage hostage during Ramadan is going to be killed because they offended Muslims.

I can't see what the this guy has against flogging the dolphin, cuffing the carrot, or clearing the snorkel.

I recommend that we all thumb our noses at Iran by going on a date with Pamela Handerson.

I call on all flag waving Americans to take a few minutes out of their day to rough up the suspect, or engage in a little hand-to-gland combat.

A question arises out of this article: What the hell is the difference between deliberate masturbation and accidental?

I did not know you could do it accidentally. I seriously doubt it is possible. Trust me if it was possible I would have found it by now.

Nobles, Knaves, and those in between

The Washington Times Nobles and Knaves column is something everyone of you should be reading by now.

This week they hail Sheriff Fred Wegener for his guts in ordering a SWAT raid during the standoff at Platte County High School. I think he made the right decision considering the guy inside was a murderous pedophile.

They also castigate the liberal bloggers who are using lies and doctored photos to besmirch Michelle Malkin.

Little question: Why do liberals always level their attacks against conservative women it the most base and sexual manner?

Are they so out of touch with reality that they can not see that not every woman thinks that the way of life endorsed by Sex and the City is good for the soul?

Now to those of us in between.

Law school is going well for me. I am really interested in criminal law and civil procedure.
I am working hard and my personal life is suffering. Still it is not like there is much there to suffer anyway.

Everyone keeps telling me the same thing: Once you get out of law school the ladies will be all over you.

I find this statement quite disheartening. Implicit in this statement is the fact that a woman is not going to love me for my winning personality or looks, but because there is a chance that I will be economically successful.

For me this is unsettling. It seems that I am condemned to a future of loveless sex, hedonism, depravity, and moral emptiness....wait a minute...now my future is starting to look pretty good.

Seriously though, I have always wanted to be appreciated for being me, but it looks like that has always been a pipe dream.

Sigh...Jack Daniels will save me.

Night everyone.

Future headline: Mutant space vegetables attack Shanghai

The Chinese are sending seeds into space to expose them to cosmic radiation.

Supposedly, past Chinese experiments of this nature have led to higher yields of both rice and wheat. Mark my words, this will go horribly ary. This reminds me of the beginning of a 1950's horror movie. All that is missing is maniacal laughter.

My question: Where are all the environmentalists?

Everytime a biologist at Harvard changes a strand of corn DNA that makes it more likely to survive a drought, all the Pinks, Reds, and Greens go ballistic with hysterical screams and issue dire warnings about "Frankenfood." I always thought that was what a cannibal in the Air America studio could expect.

This is very different from genetically altering crops in a lab. In a lab the work is more controlled and the outcomes can be reasonably anticipated.

The Chinese experiment sounds more like a random roll of the dice to me.

Of course we all know why the libs are not upset over this: The experiment is being conducted by Communists.

The whole reason they oppose ADM altering crops is because they hate business, profit, and anything that is not a collective. The whole environmental movement is just a cover for the neo-Bolsheviks.

Still the sci-fi lover in me hopes this does go badly. I have always wanted to battle mutants in an post-apocalyptic warzone .

Cheney we fear you but are not afraid

It has been three months since my last installment of Cheney lore. During that period I traveled far and wide, interviewed many frightened people, and collected many more facts that confirm my thesis that Dick Cheney is a demi-god walking among man.

Section 1498 of the Federal Civil Procedure Code outlines the process by which courts can be held "in contempt of Cheney."

Cheney named his testicles "shock and awe"

Cheney once marketed his own Dr. Pepper knockoff called "Dictator Cheney."

The most volatile and radioactive element on the periodic table is Cheneyum.

He once beat a man to death at the Icecapades.

Having a man crush on Dick Cheney in no way affects your sexuality.

He proved Chaos theory after one of his hiccups crushed the skull of the last albino roedeer in Scotland. Cheney claimed it was bound to happen eventually

He uses crystal meth instead of salt

He can start a jukebox with a kick...just like the Fonz.

He once spooned with a wolverine

Dick Cheney's tanning bed is filled with depleted uranium

He wears the tanned skin of FDR as a dinner jacket

Update: Law School report

Well as some of you know, your humble WordBearer, started law school this week. First of all, it is not as hard as I anticipated. The homework load is equivalent to what I had as an undergrad, except you actually have to do it.

Many of my classmates seem overwhelmed, but that is because they did not really have to work in their undergrad courses. Thanks to the Dumb Ox, I am used to having to read a couple hundred pages per week and then be interrogated about the material.

I really am enjoying my classes. The professors are teaching us court room strategies in addition to all the technical stuff.

In all I feel good and everything is going well. I went to law school in order to engage in the most vile and wicked form of sophistry available to modern man...besides working for the New York Times.

I'm still wallowing in the abyss of singlehood. Looks like three more years of depressing loneliness and drinking.

Israel lost

The people of Israel are upset over the conduct of the war with the Muslim barbarians on its border.

As much as I hate to admit it, Israel lost the war because they did not win.

To win a war one must: 1. Make sure the enemy is so beaten that they know that further resistance is futile.
2. Destroy the enemies ability to wage conflicts in the near future.

Neither of these have occurred. Hezbollah has not been defeated, and they have come out of this stronger than ever.

The Israeli's need to get serious and attack without mercy. They also need to ban the media from getting anywhere near the region.

Wow Republicans are jazzed too

It turns out that the Republican base is motivated.

This is what I have been saying for months. Did the Dims really think that they were going to waltz into power?

Republicans have been beaten for the last year with poll after poll supposedly showing that they are doomed.

Let me explain why the Republicans are going to win in November:

1. The election of 2004 has yet to be appreciated by the MSM and the Dims.
Remember Kerry received more votes in 2004 than Gore got in 2000. This means that the Dims got out as many voters as they could. Bush got many more votes than Kerry did and surpassed Gore's 2000 total.

The reason for this is clear. In 2004 the Republicans mounted a great ground game. They got out there and brought in people who were not regular voters, but nevertheless conservative, and got them to the polls for the first time. Republican strategists targeted churches and social groups to tap pools of voters. Additionally, this ground game was predicated on the labor of millions of unpaid volunteers. A higher portion of Dim block walkers and polls workers were paid lackeys.

These previously non-voting conservatives have no reason to revert to their old ways. Bush has come through in a big way for social conservatives. Additionally, the Republican party will aggressively pursue their votes.

2. The Dims still do not hold beliefs they can be honest about.

The Dimocratic party has been adrift since the 70s. It has to accommodate the old Vietnam era hippie wing of the party that most of America opposes. Its future is not to bright either. Till it can find a way to rebrand class warfare and surrender to totalitarian animals, they will lose a lot of elections.

This year I think the Republicans will gain seats or at least not lose Congress. I also predict that after the Dims fail to take Congress we will see Left wing bloggers spouting conspiracy theories about Republicans manipulating the polls to make Dim voters overconfident.

I also bet that after they fail yet again they will blame voter fraud, machine tampering, and Republican conspiracy.

I don't really care

Joe Lieberman faces off in his primary tomorrow with anti-war loony Ned Lamont.

The polls show that Lieberman will probably lose, but polls can be wrong.

The reason I even bother to talk about this is because conservatives are still trying to figure out who they should root for. Many see a Lieberman's defeat as catastrophic. They see a relatively pro-war and pro-GWOT Dim going down to defeat in his primary as a sign that the public is starting to sour on the whole defeat Islamic terror thing.

I tend to see it as a good thing. By all accounts this Lamont fellow is an empty suit for the kook fringe Left. I want the Dims to elect the most loony people they can. Plus I think many people are forgetting the Joe Lieberman of 2000. who jettisoned all his beliefs to play handmaiden to Al Gore.

The radicalization of the American Left will spell doom for the Dims this November. The American people are not in love with the Republican party, but they see it as the benign alternative to the crazy Left.

Lets face it, the Dimocratic party is falling apart. It has been forced to abandon the heartland of America because it can not connect with religious people. It has to cover its real goals of class warfare and socialism in the rhetoric of "social justice," and it has failed to offer a plausible counter-strategy in the GWOT.

Still the idiocy of the people knows no bounds. Americans have been raised on the feel good, peacenick, Care Bear culture of modernity that holds no Truths to be self-evident if they interfere with the get-rich, get-high, get-off ethos of contemporary pop culture.

Update: Lieberman is within six points of Lamont as the people head to the polls.

This article further proves my point about Lieberman. He is just your typical tax and spend
liberal with a good record on the GWOT.

To Hell with Fidel

Rich Lowry, one of the most underappreciated writers in the nation, explores why the Left, supposedly the keepers of human rights, are so enamored with Fidel.

When the people of Cuba are finally free, and that day will come, we will finally get to see the true horror of Castro. When the dissidents see the light of day, the jail cells pop open, and the people can talk to reporters without a government censor standing next to them then all of the Leftists will have to admit that their hero was nothing more than a genocidal madman.

Long live a free Cuban people.

Angry rant #132

Mel apologizes

Ok the topic is Mel Gibson. His little anti-Semitic rant was the stupidest thing I have ever heard. He made a bonehead move and now he is paying for it, as he should. Still we all have said stupid things or made regrettable phone calls under the influence of alcohol. Terrible terrible phone calls...full of shame.

Still the biggest crime Mel committed was not being the leader of a Muslim nation or a college professor. Just think about it. The stuff Mel screamed under the influence of the vine is tame compared to the stuff that rolls off the tongue of the most obscure Islamic despot.

If a college professor had uttered these words he would be hailed as a paragon of free speech. Every editorial page in the country would be buzzing in his defense.

There is a speech code in America, and some are exempt from it. Apparently Mel is not in that category.

So it has come to this II

Finally the Western Left has reached the point where it feels it can be honest with what it believes.

In the UK, the revised version of the core aims of the National curriculum will no longer require that schools teach children the difference between right and wrong.

Children will now be taught to reject absolute values in exchange for "secure values and beliefs."

Allso removed were sections on promoting leadership and teaching the cultural heritage of Britain.

The teachers are claiming that they have always taught right from wrong, which is a lie, and that the change is not important...again another lie.

A spokesman for the QCA also said that the wordings of the new curriculum "identifies the need for young people who challenge injustice, are committed to human rights and strive to live peaceably with others."

This goal is incompatible with the teaching of relativism. How can a young person challenge injustice if they do not possess a concept of right versus wrong? How can you have a justice system without the idea that there are some acts that are prohibited?

The pandering of relativistic garbage to children is sick. They want children to develop a sense of their place in the world. This reeks of thought control. They want to produce the socialist society with a place for everyone and everyone in their place. This is completely at odds with reality. They want to replicate the society of old with themselves as the new nobles.

It is a cliche to say that we are a "government of laws not of men." This is unfeasible if right vs. wrong is obliterated. How can you have a society of laws if every man can make his own determination of right versus wrong? Without a consensus on this issue the rule of law is untenable.

Without such consensus we descend into a Hobbiesian world in which every man is his own judge.

It has finally arrived folks. I bet we will see something like this in writing here in the US before the end of the decade.

Kalashikovs and Cupcakes

Christina Lamb's weblog over at the UK Times puts forth an interesting question:

If you can get $10 a day fighting for the Taliban and $20 a month as a policeman
what would you choose?

The answer I am sure she expects is "Hey I will fight for the Taliban." The nature of the question is idiotic and misguided. It is based on a false assumption about the nature of man. The answer she expects is posited on the assumption that people weigh allegiances on a purely economic cost/value scale. This is an unwarranted assumption.

The idea of right versus wrong or good versus evil does not play into her piece at all. Her question is similar to asking "$30,000 dollars a year as a cop or $60,000 a week as a drug smuggler, what would you choose?"

The answer is quite clear to me. She completely overlooks the fact that there is honor in one. By phrasing the question in the manner in which she did, she makes it seem as if either choice is as equally valid as the other.

Of course I am sure that is how she meant it. Modern day ethics tells us that there is not such thing as an objectively good or bad choice. All choices are inherently equal. It goes back to Weber's (may he burn in hell) fact/value distinction. The problem with this is that it ignores the fact that values can be facts and facts can be values.

People fight for reasons that are not connected to economic gain.

John Keegan, the greatest military historian of modernity, put it this way:

The graphic depiction of the reality of legionary warfare, in which the
unvarying daily order of the camp...could be suddenly interrupted by
confrontation with a yelling crowd of unshaven and unkempt strangers, reeking of
dirt and fear and sweating with the intense exertion of muscle-power warfare,
conveys withou the need for further demonstration that the Roman professional
soldier did not serve for the monetary rewards enlistment brought him. his
values were those by which his fellows in the modern age continue to live: pride
in a distinctive (and distinctly masculine) way of life, concern to enjoy the
the good opinion of comrades, satifaction in the largely symbolic tokens of
professional success, hopes of promotion, expectation of a comfortable and
honourable retirement.

The numbers do not lie

In my email today I found a pearl among the garbage.

Dan Wesson, a true friend and Dictator for Life of the Friendzone, sent me this.

It is a complete list of political contributions made by celebs.

Of course there is very little earthshatering information here. Most of the contributions went to Dims. One thing I did notice was that country music stars tended to give heavily to Republicans.

Some other interesting tidbits: Heather Locklear has only given to Republicans, as has Chuck Norris. Maury Povich gave $2,000 to President Bush in 2004. Kevin Sorbo, Hercules to you mere mortals, also gave to Republicans. Alex Trebek, with his Dago mustache and greasy hair, cut checks to Republicans as well.

This list makes you a fully informed consumer. Now you can verify what you have only suspected. Choose your movies and music well folks.

You have to admire his bravado

A Scottish man has plead guilty to living off the proceeds of prostitution.

He originally claimed his brothel was a center for disabled kids. He claimed that the poles were there for disabled people and that the mirrors on the ceilings were decorative.

I find this guys line of work exploitive and immoral, but I admire his bravado.

Pet peeve: emo kids

Ok watch this video and laugh.

Emo kids get on my nerves big time. I had one in a class in college that annoyed the hell out of me. He was a total crying pussy who believed that there was no reason ever to fight for anything. His reasoning was "violence has never solved a problem." After I produced a list of problems that violence has solved he claimed that I was misinterpreting the world.

Once I overheard a group of emo kids, who all seemed to be dressed alike, talking about how everyone else was a conformist.

These people give those of us who are actually seeking introspection a bad name.

I don't like to stereotype because everyone who stereotypes is a cockface, but all emo guys are gay and all emo chicks are lesbos.

Listen and listen good: Life does suck at times, but it also great at times. You need to take the good with the bad. It is ok to discuss the bad, but if you get hung up on it you will be short changing yourself. Happiness is often found in the little things.

I will see your shame and raise you self-loathing

I can completely relate to this article on the precarious nature of the modern dating scene.

I can relate to being blown off in text messages and emails. I have had a bad internet date. I have never been the accomplice to infidelity so I have one up on this guy. He is right though. The whole scene has become predatory. Lots of women seem out for blood these days. I have hunted mountain lions that are more merciful than modern day ladies.

It seems that in the war of the sexes, women have gone nuclear.

In fact this article gives me hope. I am better looking than this guy. My problem is that I can not approach a woman. I would think I am a pretty good catch. I am in law school, can cook very well, am free of all major diseases, have a budding political career, and know how to treat women.

Every time I am out I see lots of ladies I find attractive. I am just unsure how to approach them.
Ladies riddle me this: How should I approach a woman I find attractive without looking like some sort of slimeball?

My sentiments exactly

John Derbyshire on the Middle East.

He is of course right: "We can't ignore the damn loathsome filthy accursed place."

I wish we could. That is the only reason that I support less dependence on Mid-East oil. I don't give a damn about the environment, I just hate having to depend on the Arabs for our energy. I would love to let the savages in the Middle East tear each other apart. If we did not have to worry about the hurt feelings of the Arabs we could turn the Israelis loose to purge the Middle East of the barbarians.

I am tired of being told what the Arab street thinks. They are nothing more than illiterate animals and perverts who want to kill Westerners to avenge Muslim defeats that occurred hundreds of years ago.

Chris Bell: a giant idiot

Check out this new commercial for Texas Dimocratic gubernatorial candidate Chris Bell.

Freaky huh?

The gall of this man, putting his arm around Sam Houston.

I hear the next ad will have Chris Bell battling MechaGodzilla in the middle of Houston.

I love the part of the commercial where Bell suggests that we should be "preparing our kids for college, not to take standardized tests." I seem to remember having to take a standardized test to get into college.

I hate the whole "teaching to the test" screed that teachers and administrators cry about. Isn't every teacher "teaching to the test" at some point?

The tests are not arbitrary. They are meant to ensure that kids are learning basic skills in math, reading, and science. If teachers are teaching to the test are they not just teaching basic skills?

That one line shows right where the loyalties of Chris Bell lie. He is obviously in the pocket of the socialist teacher's union.

The teachers oppose these test for two reasons. First of all they expose how incompetent they are. If they are not teaching children basic skills in math and reading the test will show it. The second reason is that the tests are objective measures. The Lefty ideology of the teacher's groups hates the idea of objective standards. They want to teach children to feel and express themselves because they can never be wrong there. They fear Truth and objectivity because both expose deficiency. To do such a thing would harm the "self esteem" of teachers and students and make them feel bad.

We need to destroy the public school system and rebuild it from the ground up. That may sound harsh but I am like the doctor who saw the disease and was brave enough to prescribe poison.
